王升，字逸老，汴(今河南開封)人。宋宣、政間，奉召為補右爵。南渡後，寓居嘉禾羔羊裡，自號羔羊居士，宋高宗時，召對蒙眷官至正使。卒年不詳，1149年尚在。

Inside Story
|
This was the letter Wang Shen wrote to his friend about his recent condition. Wang Shen was getting old and was ill; he intended to decline visitors. Although he was thinking of doing so, when there were visitors came to his home he was happy to see them and he was glad that they still treated him as a friend. |
