【作者介紹】

王羲之（303年—361年），字逸少，漢族，東晉時期著名書法家，有「書聖」之稱。祖籍琅琊（今屬山東臨沂），後遷會稽山陰（今浙江紹興），晚年隱居剡縣金庭。

Inside Story

Although merely one thousand unrepeated characters were applied in the composition of the article, it was with considerable values of knowledge and art, as the scopes of Chien-Tzu-Wen spread out to astronomy, geography, agriculture, meteorology, minerals, special products, history and disciplines etc. It was also used by the ancient Chinese to teach children to recognize characters. The calligraphy was written by Wang Hsichich, hence it added up further value to the writing.
