王之望（1102—1170年），字瞻叔，襄陽穀城人。乾道六年（1170年）卒於臨海。王之望是一個詞學大家。為詞下筆立成，豪贍宏博，切於事理。

Inside Story
|
This was a letter Wang Chichwang wrote to Chisu. First he congratulated him on catching thieves successfully. Then he mentioned that he received a letter from his fifteen brother saying that the rice in Tsetung were ripen and he could take the troop to help harvest the rice in July. At last, he forwarded friends’ regards to Chisu. |

| 此帖，是蔡襄作詩上呈宋仁宗之作。在詩前是蔡襄向仁說進呈這首詩的原因。仁宗曾賜書並賜字「君謨」蔡襄，並且對蔡襄有很大的期望，希望蔡襄可以為天下國家盡力，蔡襄極為感動，也是備受榮寵，因此寫詩進呈。詩的大意是感謝皇帝對他的重視，稱讚皇帝的盛德，最後則說自己一定會為國家竭盡心力，讓皇帝的成就，可以上追上古的聖君明王。 |
