“Thousand words from Wang Hsi-chih” was edited under the regime of Liang in Southern Dynasty. A record further explanation on this article. Emperor Liang take one thousand words from Wang Hsi-chih’s calligraphy works. One word in a piece of paper, then handed the paper to Chou Hsinshih to arrange the words into rhyme. He completed the rhyme just in one night and he was so worn out that his hair turned into white afterwards. This calligraphy was written by Emperor Kao in Sung dynasty.
