與當世帖 A Thank-you note

蔡襄（1012-1067），字君謨，興化仙游（今福建仙游）人。書法與蘇軾、黃庭堅、米芾，並列為「宋四家」。歐陽修稱「君謨書獨步當世」，東坡推崇「近時稱第一」。

Inside Story

Before Tsai Chsiang was leaving, he wrote this letter to his good friend Fonliang whom he met in Chientang. In the letter he talked about his pleasant journey in Hangchou. He sent his regards to Fonliang and wanted him to take care of himself in early summer days. He gave Fonliang Da-lung-tuan tea and green glazed tea sets which were rather expensive, expecially Da-lung-tuan tea was a gift given to the royalties then.
