這是唐人懷素寫給友人的書信。內文反用劉寓錫〈陋室銘〉的文句，自嘲說自己所處的環境不好，自己的書法字帖也不好。但是，最近寫出來的作品比以往更好，不知道為什麼，常常是在自己無意之間就寫成的。 |

|
為其山不高，地亦無靈；為其泉不深，水亦不清；為其書不精，亦無令名。後來足可深感。藏真自風廢，近來已八歲，近蒙薄減，今所為其顛逸，全勝往年。所顛形詭異，不知從何而來，常自不知耳。昨奉二謝書，問知山中事有也。 |

Inside Story This is a letter Huai Su wrote to his friend. In the letter he teased about his poor calligraphy due to his unfortunate condition. However he thought his calligraphy writing was making progress. He did not know the reason for the improvement, but it was often accomplished without expectation.
