此帖書於延祐五年，其時，趙氏已六十有五。中峰和尚，浙江錢塘人，俗姓孫。他早年出家，後主天目山中峰獅子院，稱中峰和尚，與趙氏交往密切。所以，在趙孟頫寫給中峰和尚的諸多信件中，大都是說自己生活的情形，略說一些修行的心得，其中也有趙孟頫歷經喪妻之痛，而向中峰和尚傾訴自己哀傷的心情。 |

A letter to Master Chungfeng

Inside Story Master Chungfeng kept closed relationship with Chao Mengfu. Most of the letters he wrote to Master Chungfeng were to talk about his life and slightly mentioned his thoughts on learning Buddhism. He also told Master Chungfeng about his sorrow and pain of losing his wife.
