這是王巖叟寫給長輩的信，因為這位長輩曾問起王巖叟的生活情形，但是那時王巖叟因為有其他事情，沒有及時向這位長輩回覆，因此王巖叟用這封信向長輩說明，同時也請這位長輩在秋天還很熱的時候，也要多保重。 |

大人上問起居，未遑奏記，但益思仰之誠。秋暑敢乞倍自壽重。巖叟上啟永安必常得吉問。 |

Summer to autumn

Inside Story This was a letter Wang Yenshou replied to an elder who send him a letter asking about his recent condition, however, he did not return his letter immediately because he was occupied by other things. In the letter he gave his explanation why he had not replied sooner as well as reminded the elder to take care in the Indian summer days.
