【摘要】
|
這是宋高宗賜岳飛手敕。先是慰問岳飛深秋在外帶兵的辛勞；其次說明如果有重要的事情，岳飛可以通通地通知，而不用經過其他大臣。又說駐紮淮西的守軍發生叛亂後，朝廷關注重心全在那裡，長江中、上游一帶的步軍、水軍，全交給岳飛統率，希望他恩威並加，練好部隊，提高警惕，如果寇賊到他所管轄之處，他可以調動蘄陽、江州的水軍，以防止意外的發生。總之，此文的內容，說明皇帝在外將領的慰問，以及給予極大自主的權限，表達充份的信任，但是，數年之後，高宗便因為聽信曹檜之言，以十二道金牌招岳飛回京，還遭受到莫須有的罪名而被賜死。對照此手敕及岳飛之死，亦頗令人欷歔。 |

Letter to General Yueh Fei

Inside Story This is a letter Emperor Kao sent to Yueh Fei. It started by autumn greetings and comforted the hardship of battling. Then, it stated if there was anything urgent happened Yueh Fei was allowed to report to him directly, there was no need to go through the routine channel. It also expressed the Emperor’s concerns on rebel’s condition in the dominion of army and navy troops to him. If the rebels should initiate attacks Yueh Fei was authorized to mobilize the navy to prevent further conflicts. Over all, the letter delivered Emperor’s greetings and concerns on the general who led troops to protect borderline area and gave him great extension of authority. However, several years later, Emperor Kao believed a treacherous court official’s words and ordered Yueh Fei to return to the capital with twelve gold plaques, then executed him with false accusations. Comparing the letter and the execution, it is truly pitiful.
